Great article! I think the keyword here is „free choice“. Let‘s not shame people for „being too feminine/not feminine enough“ or „too masculine/not masculine enough“.

I for example write a lot about feminism, but I am also in many ways a traditionally feminine woman. I found that many times people judge me quickly for the way I dress (dresses and skirts) or for my hobbies (I like traditionally „feminine“ activities like dancing or painting). Of course, this is not my whole personality! I also enjoy lifting weights and watching horror movies, and so on. For me to be a „real feminist“ it doesn’t mean I have to wear pants only and distribute political leaflets (you can of course do that!). In other words, identities are complicated and no one should be shamed for liking traditionally masculine or traditionally feminine or both things/activities. As long as they are equally tolerant for other people‘s preferences.
